I have been doing this fasting diet / change of lifestyle whatever you want to call it for the past 2019 days on and off and I have to say that this feels different, easy & non complicated in comparison to all other attempts.
I am eating good tasty food and I don't feel i am missing anything if anything I'm probably cheating more than previous attempts, if I feel I want to have chocolate bar or a packet of crisps I know i can have it so long as I eat within my window of eating.
I don't know if there are any health benefits to fasting with what I am doing but I honestly feel great, I have the same energy levels than I did previously
As much as I do enjoy the gym its great that I go and with my training plan I'm not killing myself in anyway in terms of over doing it, and its quite amazing that now I have taken a back seat slightly and I look at others around me exercising hard the I then think 80% diet, 20% food. Hopefully my body will last longer without the need to replacement knees or hips.
Its going to be interesting once I get to the weight I want to be as maintenance will then kick in and ill be looking to reduce my fasting times to 14-16 hours.
Obviously if you are thinking of following this plan, please make sure you have no medical issues, so a trip to the doctor would be advised.
