What We Eat.

Because we eat less we now eat more quality foods, one thing we have concentrated on is avoiding excess sugar, yes sugar. My favorite sauce in ketchup but when i looked at the label I amazed by just how much sugar was in there, so my replacement is mushroom & cherry tomatoes heated together as a substitute.

Our shop is generally around £50-£60 per week and here is our shopping list to which Ill be using in the 7 day meal plan.

  • 1 Kg Beef Mince
  • 4 Beef Burgers
  • 2 400g Rump Steak
  • 2 400g Ribeye Steak
  • 1 Pack Sausages
  • 1 Pack Turkey Steaks

    Vegetables

  • 4 Courgettes
  • 4 Red peppers
  • 2 Packs mushrooms
  • 1 Bag red onions
  • 2 Packs cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Frozen bag sweetcorn
  • 1 Frozen peas
  • 1 Bag chips, yes chips
  • 1 Bag onion rings, yes onion rings
  • 3 Hot n spicy couscous
  • 1 Jar green Jalapeno
  • 1 Bag nuts..walnuts,pistachios,mixed bag

  • Rogan josh curry sauce

What i would say is with some foods like nuts which are good for you but high in calories, its worth knowing that a 25 gram portion can have almost 200 calories in it. As an exercise weigh a 25 gram portion so your aware.
